Bo Caviezel (Coach Bo)

Boys Recreation, Boys Pre-Team, and Boys Tumbling Coach
Having been raised and practically brought up in the gymnastics world, jumping around and inside of a gym is not something that is new to me.  Hello to you all.  My name is Bo Caviezel.  I have spent the majority of my childhood years inside a gym from when I was 6 until I was nearly done with Middle School.  During my time there in the long hours of the gym, I learned, not only difficult and daring skills, but core values of trust, hard work, determination, dedication, and a whole lot more values that I still carry with me today. I have had the fortunate opportunity to compete at venues in California that top gymnasts from around the country compete in, with Peter Vidmar being one of the gymnasts I looked up to in the sport. I have also had the unique experience of being a State and Regional competitions during those years.  I held the title of West Coast High Bar Champion at State for one year.

I was always being pushed to try hard, try again, and most importantly, never give up by all of my coaches.  They always reminded me time and time again, “you are stronger and capable of doing much more than you think you can accomplish”.  This hard work in the sport of gymnastics had carried me through tough times in the sport of cross country that I did during my finishing years of middle school going well throughout High School and Community College.  I have had the opportunity to race and compete in well-raved courses in Southern California.  Even though my years of competitive gymnastics competing came to a close, I still loved the idea of running and finding a way to escape the daily turmoil around me.  I have run at least 5 half marathons during my high school and Community College years, all of which were such fun to compete in with family and friends.  I am currently a student here at Franciscan University studying Middle Childhood Development hoping that one day I will be a Middle School teacher.  I have always loved kids and being able to share what I know and love with them and inspiring them to dream big and reach for the stars.

For the last 5 years she has been the vocal director for the annual musical theater production at Catholic Central High School in Steubenville.  In addition to teaching the solos and ensemble music to the cast, she wrote choral arrangements for numerous ensemble pieces to accommodate the demographics of the cast.

She was the vocal director and music arranger for 3 years running for "The Wooden Heart Follies" original musicals which have been performed by local thespians in tandem with the Advent Market in downtown Steubenville.  She is looking forward to reprising that role this year.

She is a mother of 6; all of whom she homeschooled.  She gleaned from experience that all children have a unique way of learning.  Everyone can make music.  She strives to help each child to find his or her song.
